USA v. Italy; Kaiserslautern, part 1

Every city hosting a World Cup match devoted some space to what was called Fan Fest. The Fests featured giant TV screens to watch games going on in other cities, great food, music, games, etc. In the case of Kaiserlsautern, though, the whole town was the Fan Fest. It was a great time because the whole town was a big party. There were chanting fans, packed pubs, weird parades and costumes, and plenty of Italians mocking the United States for not knowing how to play soccer. I overheard one Italian who snorted "What, are they going to hit the ball with a bat??!" Get it?
